Ultra-Luxury Trek to Everest Base Camp offers a more comfortable and indulgent experience compared to traditional treks. While the trek itself remains challenging and takes you through some of the most breathtaking landscapes in the world, a luxury trek is designed to provide high-quality accommodation, personalized services, and additional amenities to make your journey more enjoyable and comfortable.
We provide comfortable beds, private bathrooms with hot showers, and other amenities to ensure a more pleasant experience throughout the trek. You will also have a private guide and dedicated porters who will focus on your needs throughout the journey. This allows for a more personalized experience, with our guides able to accommodate your specific interests, preferences, and pace.
It is important to note that although a luxury trek to Everest Base Camp offers enhanced comfort and service, the physical challenges of trekking at high altitude remain. Participants should be prepared for demanding walking conditions, high-altitude environments, and variable mountain weather.
J. One Trekking offers a full-board package with carefully selected accommodation and personalized service, making your journey as comfortable and worry-free as possible. Come and experience the Himalayas with our warmest hospitality and dedicated local expertise.

After a warm welcome at the hotel, you will have some time to relax and settle in. Later, you will have the opportunity to explore the nearby areas and purchase any remaining trekking essentials you may need.
In the evening, our team member will provide a brief introduction to the trek and share important information and guidelines. You will then enjoy a welcome dinner with our team at a typical local restaurant, where you can experience authentic Nepali cuisine and hospitality.
After breakfast, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of the Kathmandu Valley, visiting several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Kathmandu Durbar Square, Patan Durbar Square, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple (a sacred Hindu temple and cremation site), and Swayambhunath Stupa (also known as the Monkey Temple).
Our knowledgeable tour guide will accompany you throughout the tour, providing insights into the history, culture, and significance of these remarkable sites.
After completing the tour, we will take you back to your hotel in Kathmandu, where you can relax and prepare for the upcoming trek.
You will take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. The flight takes approximately 30–35 minutes and offers spectacular views of the Himalayan landscape. You will also experience the excitement of landing at Lukla’s famous mountain airstrip, one of the most renowned airports in the Himalayas.
Upon arrival in Lukla, you will meet your porters and prepare for the trek. The trail begins from Lukla and follows the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful mountain villages, lush landscapes, and scenic surroundings. After approximately 3.5–4 hours of trekking, you will reach Phakding, where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful Himalayan atmosphere.
Overnight: Mountain Lodges of Nepal (Luxury Lodge), Phakding.
After breakfast at the lodge, you will begin your trek to Namche Bazaar, following the Dudh Koshi River through the beautiful Himalayan landscape. Along the way, you will cross several suspension bridges and enter Sagarmatha National Park. At Jorsale, your guide will complete the necessary entry formalities before you continue along the trail.
After some time, you will stop for lunch and enjoy a well-deserved break. Following lunch, the trail continues along the Dudh Koshi River before reaching the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. After crossing the bridge, you will begin the final uphill section toward Namche Bazaar.
As you climb, you will reach a viewpoint offering your first distant glimpse of the majestic Mount Everest, weather permitting. Continuing through the scenic mountain landscape, you will eventually arrive at Namche Bazaar, the vibrant gateway to the Everest region.
Surrounded by spectacular mountain ranges, Namche Bazaar is the main trading and cultural hub of the Khumbu region. You will have the opportunity to explore its lively streets, local shops, and traditional markets.
Overnight: Mountain Lodges of Nepal (Luxury Lodge), Namche Bazaar.
After breakfast at Yeti Mountain Home, you will begin your hike toward Syangboche. The trail takes approximately two hours and offers beautiful views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape.
Upon reaching Syangboche, you will continue north toward Hotel Everest View (HEV), your accommodation for the night. Renowned for its spectacular location, the hotel offers panoramic views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. You can enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in these breathtaking mountain vistas from the hotel’s courtyard.
After lunch, you will continue with an acclimatization hike to help your body adjust to the increasing altitude. You will visit Khumjung, one of the largest Sherpa villages in the region, where you can see the famous Yeti scalp preserved at the local monastery and visit the school established with support from Sir Edmund Hillary.
Depending on the time and your energy level, you may also explore nearby villages before returning to the hotel for dinner and a well-deserved rest.
Overnight: Hotel Everest View, Syangboche.
After breakfast, you will begin your trek toward Deboche. The trail descends to Kyangjuma, where you will join the main trail from Namche Bazaar. Along the way, you will enjoy breathtaking views of some of the region’s most impressive peaks, including Thamserku, Kangtega, and Kusum Kanguru.
Continuing downhill, you will reach the Dudh Koshi River at Phunki Tenga. From here, the trail gradually climbs through beautiful rhododendron forests toward Tengboche Village. Along the way, you will enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains, as well as traditional chortens and stupas scattered throughout the landscape.
From Somare, you will continue along a rugged mountain trail toward Orsho. The trail then gradually ascends as you make your way toward Pheriche. Upon arrival, you can relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of this beautiful Himalayan settlement.
Pheriche is also an important acclimatization stop on the Everest Base Camp route and offers spectacular views of the surrounding peaks.
Overnight: The Edelweiss, Pheriche.
Today is dedicated to acclimatization, following the important principle of “climb high and sleep low.” To help your body adjust to the increasing altitude, you will hike to the 5,060-meter-high Nangkartshang Viewpoint. From the viewpoint, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Ama Dablam, Makalu, the Imja Valley, and the surrounding Himalayan peaks.
After the hike, you will return to Pheriche for a delicious lunch and some time to rest. In the afternoon, you may attend an informative session on Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS) at the Himalayan Rescue Association, where you can learn about altitude-related risks and how to stay safe during your trek. Alternatively, you can relax and enjoy some free time at the lodge.
This acclimatization day is an important part of the trek, allowing you to rest while gradually adapting to the high altitude before continuing toward Everest Base Camp.
Overnight: The Edelweiss, Pheriche.
After breakfast, you will begin your trek toward Lobuche. The trail initially follows a relatively gentle path toward Dughla, offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. After crossing the bridge near Dughla, the trail becomes steeper as you ascend toward the Everest Memorial area.
Here, you will see the memorials dedicated to climbers and mountaineers who lost their lives on Mount Everest and other Himalayan peaks. This is a deeply moving part of the journey and offers a moment to reflect on the challenges and sacrifices associated with high-altitude mountaineering.
From the memorial viewpoint, you will continue ascending toward Lobuche Village. Upon reaching the village, you will walk approximately 15 minutes north to reach your lodge, where you can rest and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the high Himalayas.
Overnight: Italian Pyramid, Lobuche.
After breakfast, you will leave Lobuche and begin the trek toward Gorak Shep, following the rugged trail alongside the Khumbu Glacier. The landscape becomes increasingly dramatic as you continue through the high-altitude terrain toward Gorak Shep, a small settlement and the final overnight stop before Everest Base Camp.
Upon arrival in Gorak Shep, you will check into your lodge, settle in, and enjoy lunch before preparing for the afternoon hike to Kala Patthar.
Later, you will hike to the summit of Kala Patthar, one of the best viewpoints in the Everest region, to witness a spectacular Himalayan sunset. From the top, weather permitting, you will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Mount Everest, Pumori, Nuptse, Cholatse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and the surrounding Himalayan peaks, along with views of the Khumbu Glacier and icefall.
After enjoying the sunset and taking in the magnificent mountain scenery, you will descend back to Gorak Shep for a well-deserved rest.
